Activity 1: Vocabulary- Helping at Home

Today, we will learn action words (verbs) that we use when we help at home. These words are called verbs because they show actions.

Vocabulary Words:

• Clean (e.g., "I clean my room.")

• Pick up (e.g., "I pick up my toys.")

• Wash (e.g., "I wash the dishes.")

• Sweep (e.g., "I sweep the floor.")

Instructions:Look at the pictures of different chores at home. Can you say the action (verb) in each picture? Try to use the new words in your sentences!
